Hon. Justice Dr. Bamwine Swears in Public Service Commission Members.
The Hon.\r\nPrincipal Judge, Hon. Justice Dr. Yorokamu Bamwine urged the newly appointed\r\nmembers of the Public Service Commission (PSC) to work relentlessly so as to\r\nensure that strong public institutions are built. He reminded\r\nthem that the oaths they had taken were a contract between them and the state\r\nand; that they should perform their task most diligently.

Retired Hon. Justice Ralph Ochan was\r\nsworn in as the chairperson of the Commission and would be deputized by Hilda\r\nMusubira (Ms).
\r\n\r\n
The other members of the commission are\r\nMr. Francis Oryang Lagony, Hajjat Jamilalah Kamulegeya, Dr. Laban Kirya, Mr.\r\nJohnson Bitarabeho, Benigna Mukiibi (Mrs.) and Ms. Ida Kagoya Tarinyeba. The 9-member commission is\r\nconstitutionally mandated to remain in power for a term of five years though the ninth position has not been filled yet.

First Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Henry\r\nMuganwa Kajura and Court of Appeal Justice, Hon. Justice Geoffrey Kiryabwire were\r\namong the dignitaries who attended the occasion.
